FFWSGF The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Maries County in central Missouri... Southeastern Miller County in central Missouri...

* Until 1145 PM CDT Sunday.

* At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Belle, Iberia, Vienna, St. Elizabeth, Brumley, Brinktown, Vichy, Ulman and Lake of The Ozarks State Park. This includes the following low water crossings... Weimer Creek at White School Road, Maries River at County Road 211, Dry Fork at County Road 407, Montague Creek at County Road 510, Atwell Creek at Highway K, Maries River at County Road 621 and Little Tavern Creek at County Road 220.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MARIES, MO ... MILLER, MO
