* At 749 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast of Downtown Asheville, or near Fairview In Buncombe County, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines.
