We are monitoring the weather for tomorrow’s Memorial Day parade. A decision will be made tomorrow morning and we hope to send out a notification before 9am. In the event the parade is cancelled due to the weather, the American Legion will hold a ceremony at their Post at 399 Broad Avenue at noon tomorrow. If the parade is not cancelled, parade participants should gather in the courtyard of Leonia Middle School at 11am. The parade will start at 11:30am and travel down Broad Ave to Fort Lee Rd and end in Wood Park. Bleachers have been set up at the American Legion for spectators to watch the bands perform. There is no parking on Broad Avenue from Fort Lee Rd to Vreeland Avenue tomorrow morning. Broad Avenue will close to all traffic after 11am. Plan accordingly if you are dropping off participants at the Middle School. Please look for another Nixle message tomorrow morning. Thank you.
