* At 828 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Galatia to near Carrier Mills to near Vienna to 6 miles east of Tamms, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Harrisburg, Metropolis, Eldorado, Shawneetown, Rosiclare, Brookport, Galatia, Ridgway, Golconda, Equality, New Columbia, Dixon Springs, Carrier Mills, New Haven, Joppa, Raleigh, Elizabethtown, Stonefort, Omaha, and New Burnside. This includes Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 17 and 37.
