VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: Between mid-May 2024 to May 25, 2024, Lorenzo Haynes held the victim against her will for a two-week period.  Haynes forced the victim to perform multiple sexual acts through fear and coercion throughout multiple counties in Southern California.

On Saturday, May 25, 2024, at about 9:23 p.m., the victim contacted the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department to report she was hiding from Haynes at a location in the 3600 block of Riverside Drive.
Deputies responded, located Haynes' vehicle, and initiated a traffic stop.  Haynes fled the location, and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  During the pursuit, a sheriff's patrol vehicle was involved in a collision with two uninvolved motorists.  The deputy was transported to a local hospital with injuries and later released.

Haynes fled the location and was located by a local police agency in Riverside County.  Haynes led the agency on a vehicle pursuit from Riverside County to San Diego County before his vehicle was disabled.  Haynes fled on foot and was later detained.  Haynes was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for multiple crimes.
