* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen, Essex and Passaic and southeast New York, including the following counties, Orange and Rockland.
* WHEN...Until 1245 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1114 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, New City, Paramus, West Milford, Ridgewood, Monsey, Nanuet, Ramsey, Ringwood, Haverstraw, Pompton Lakes, Suffern, Caldwell, Nyack, Tappan, Sloatsburg, Hawthorne and Pearl River. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
