Early voting begins tomorrow, May 29
Residents who are registered to vote and would like to vote in the upcoming June 4 Democratic or Republican Primary Elections for President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Congress can cast their ballot early starting on Wednesday, May 29.
Early voting will for the June 4 Primary Election, will occur from Wednesday, May 29, through Sunday, June 2 in Hoboken City Hall's first-floor conference room (94 Washington St.). The early voting location will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Voters should enter City Hall on Newark Street (between Washington Street and Bloomfield Street).
Unaffiliated voters are eligible to vote in-person in either the Democratic or Republican Primary Election, by declaring their party at the polls during either early voting or on Election Day. Registered Democrats and Republicans are only permitted to vote in their party’s respective Primary Election.
Election Day voting
Residents can also cast their ballot at their registered polling place on Tuesday, June 4. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voting by mail
Voters can also still apply for a Mail-in Ballot in person by 3 p.m. on June 3.

There are three ways voters can submit their completed VBM ballot:
- Voters can return their VBM ballot by placing it in the nearest mailbox using the U.S. Postal Service. The ballot must be postmarked on or before June 4 and received by the Board of Elections.
- There are also three secure ballot-drop box locations in Hoboken where voters can drop off their VBM ballot; one at Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington St. on Newark Street, one at the Stevens University Gateway Building at Hudson Street and Sixth Street, and one on Monroe Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets. Voters must submit their VBM ballot in a secure drop box on or before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
- Voters can also return their mail-in ballot in person to the Hudson County Board of Elections Office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4. The Hudson County Board of Elections Office is located at Hudson County Plaza, 257 Cornelison Avenue, 4th Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07302. NOTE: VBM ballots CANNOT be returned to ANY early voting location or polling place.
