Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the suspects pictured below concerning a theft from an automobile on May 18, 2024.
Police officers responded to the incident that occurred at approximately 1 a.m. at Market and Washington Streets, where the victim parked her vehicle. When she returned, the rear driver-side window had been shattered, and her iPad and laptop were missing.
Suspect #1 is described as a Black male with a dark complexion, and thin build. He wore a black head scarf, a black face mask, a blue jacket with white stripes, black pants, and white sneakers.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black female with a medium complexion and medium build. She was wearing a grey ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt with a blue and white insignia of a tiger, black pants, and black sneakers.
