Deputy Robert Watson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 30-year-old Corey Allen Brasecker with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine. Brasecker was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
Deputy Watson also charged 24-year-old Brittany Anne Ledford with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine and felonious Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. Ledford was issued a $5,000 secured bond.
On May 16th, deputies were patrolling the area of Nix Creek Rd in Marion and stopped a vehicle, driven by Ledford, for traffic violations. The passenger, identified as Brasecker, was arrested for outstanding warrants. A search of the vehicle turned up fentanyl, marijuana and methamphetamine.
