INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

VICTIM: Female Child and Female Adult (Identification withheld)
On Tuessday, May 28, 2024, at approximately 8:02 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Towne Ave and Lexington Ave regarding a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on scene and located two pedestrians laying in the roadway of Towne Ave suffering from severe injuries. The female adult was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital. First responders performed life saving measures on the female child; however, the child succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
