Cornell University Entomology Department conducting tick sampling throughout the summer months. 
The Cayuga Heights Police Department would like to advise residents that members of the Cornell University Entomology Deparment are going door to door to request permission to sample ticks in residential yards. Residents should expect two females on foot or traveling in a white Chevy Equinox bearing Rhode Island license plate #WZ 181. Members will have Cornell University identification on their person and have registered with the Police Department to canvass the village through the remainder of this year.
