Wilmington Police arrest three men on drug charges:
Wilmington Police have arrested three men on drug charges.
Beginning in May, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 100 block of West 26th Street. On May 23, at approximately 1:24 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 600 block of Concord Avenue, and took 19-year-old Kharon Martin, 19-year-old Nazir Cassidy, and 20-year-old Deshonne Moore into custody without incident. Subsequently, police executed a search warrant in the 100 block of West 26th Street, and recovered 199 grams of fentanyl laced marijuana, $1,370, and drug paraphernalia.
Kharon Martin has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Nazir Cassidy has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic violations:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Deshonne Moore has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
