PEQUANNOCK POLICE DEPARTMENT MESSAGE: Overturned vehicle crash currently being investigated. Crash occurred near 237 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ. Power outages in the area affecting homes, businesses, and traffic control devices. West Parkway is currently shut down from Route 23 to Mountain Avenue. Officers are working to control traffic in Pompton Plains along Route 23 near Boulevard and Newark Pompton Turnpike intersections. DOT and JCPL both on scene assisting. Motorists and citizens are advised to avoid the area if possible. Thank you.
