In August of 2023, Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit received information about a residence in Simi Valley possibly conducting an illegal gambling operation along with drug sales and other criminal activity.
After a lengthy invstigation, it was determined that the location was hosting illegal gambling, prostitution and providing illegal narcotics.
On the evening of May 28th, 2024 the Simi Valley Police Department, utilizing their SWAT Team along with several outside police agencies, served search warrants in the 1800 block of Marcella St., at two other residences in Simi Valley and three residences in the city of Los Angeles.
Several arrests were made as it relates to the illegal gambling operation, the facilitation of prostitution and the furnishing of illegal narcotics.
