Two Vehicle Injury Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on May 30th, 2024, at approximately 1002am his office was called to investigate a two vehicle injury crash at the intersection of Dailey Rd and Pine Lake St, Jefferson Township, Cass County, Michigan. Investigation shows that Tre Willard, 17 years of Edwardsburg Michigan was traveling north on Dailey Rd. Karolyn Young, 83 years of Niles, Michigan was traveling east on Pine Lake St. Young failed to yield when crossing the intersection, causing the crash. Young was transported to Saint Joseph Mishawaka Medical Center for injuries sustained during the crash.
Both drivers wore seatbelts at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in this crash.
