In cooperation with VET CARE, the Duarte Public Safety Department will host the annual low-cost Vaccination Clinic on June 8, 2024, from  8:00-10:00 am at Encanto Park (777 Encanto Parkway).  Encanto Park will be closed during event times. 
Cash will not be accepted; check or credit only. Rabies vaccinations will be available for $15 each, microchip registration for $35, and other vaccinations will also be available upon request. In addition,  Duarte residents can purchase Duarte dog licenses, which needs to be renewed each year.

Dog Licensing Fees:
One year, unaltered $60
One year, spayed/neutered $25
Senior citizens 65 years and older are eligible for one free dog license if the pet is spayed or neutered.

To avoid late fees, purchase your license by August 31, 2024. Rates, including a penalty after August 31, are as follows: One year, unaltered, $120; one year, spayed/neutered, $85. 

Remember, all dogs over four months old must be vaccinated for rabies to comply with state law. With the foothills in our backyard, the chance of your dog having contact with local wildlife is great. Don't hesitate...Vaccinate!
