Join Main Street Highland Park on Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. at the Municipal Lot on Raritan Avenue between 2nd & 3rd Avenues for the outdoor movie series. Up next: “Rushmore” (6/1) and “No Country for Old Men” (6/15)
 
Flag Raising in honor of Pride Month, Monday 6/3
The Human Relations Commission of the Borough of Highland Park invites residents and visitors to a flag raining in honor of the Pride Month at 6:00 p.m. in the Highland Park Community Center parking lot, 220 South 6th Avenue.
 
Community Meeting regarding the Redevelopment of Tract C, Wednesday 6/5
Please be advised that the Mayor and Council will hold a Community Meeting regarding the Redevelopment of Tract C from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Highland Park High School Cafeteria, 103 North 5th Avenue, Highland Park, NJ.  No formal action will be taken.
 
Flag Raising in honor of Caribbean Heritage Month, Monday 6/10
The Human Relations Commission invites residents and visitors to a flag raining in honor of Caribbean Heritage Month at 6:00 p.m.. In the Highland Park Community Center parking lot, 220 South 6th Avenue.
 
Safe Routes to Schools Public Information Center, Monday 6/17
The Borough will hold a Public Information Center (PIC) on Monday, June 17 from 6 to 8 PM in Borough Hall Council Chambers, 220 South 5th Avenue for local stakeholders to provide input on the proposed intersection safety improvements being designed for Phase I and Phase II of the Borough’s Safe Routes to School projects. The meeting will be in an open house format, so please come at a time convenient for you. You will have an opportunity to review exhibits, ask questions and discuss any concerns with Borough representatives and members of the consulting team from NV5. 
 
Flag Raising in honor of Juneteenth, Thursday 6/19
The Human Relations Commission invites residents and visitors to a flag raining in honor of the federal holiday, Juneteenth at 6:00 p.m. in the Highland Park Community Center Parking Lot, 220 South 6th Avenue.
 
Blood Drive, Tuesday 6/25

Free Groceries from H.P. Gives a Hoot, Tuesdays 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, and 6/25 & Wednesdays 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, & 6/26
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Zone 6/Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
 
Food Pantry Distribution, Thursday 6/13 & 6/27 & Saturday 6/15 & 6/29
The Highland Park food pantry distribution will take place at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Avenue. Visit the Borough website for additional dates. For more information, contact Nicole Huff at 732-819-0052.

Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult, youth and summer camp programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the Borough.
