SUSPECT(S): Damien Gieng, a 26-year-old resident of Pomona

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Chino Hills deputies investigated a report of inappropriate sexual incidents between a 16-year-old juvenile female and an unidentified adult male suspect. They met through a social media application and the suspect knew the victim was a juvenile before the sexual contact occurred. Chino Hills detectives assumed the investigation and identified the suspect as Damien Gieng, a 26-year-old resident of Pomona.
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, Chino Hills detectives arranged a meeting with Gieng while posing as a juvenile female through social media. The Chino Hills Multi-Enforcement Team conducted surveillance and contacted Gieng when he arrived at the meeting location at The Shoppes in Chino Hills. Gieng was arrested and later booked at the West Valley Detention Center. After Gieng's arrest, a second juvenile victim was identified and interviewed by detectives.
Detectives believe there are additional victims and are releasing Gieng's photograph.
