Road Closed: Saddle River Road
When:  Friday, May 31, at 6:00 PM through Monday, June 3, at 6:00 AM.

SB Township and the SB Police Department have been informed by the NJ Turnpike Authority that they will demolish and replace the Garden State Parkway bridge overpass located on Saddle River Road between Birk Street and Bell Avenue. 

This project will take place over four weekends and will require a complete closure of Saddle River Road between Birk Street and Bell Avenue.
 
The scheduled project dates are as follows:

Weekend #1: Friday, May 31 at 6:00 pm through Monday, June 3 at 6:00 am.

The three additional weekend project dates will be in June and possibly July. 
Further details will be announced in the future.

This project is WEATHER PERMITTING.

If there is a significant chance of rain, it will be rescheduled. 

Traffic control and detour signs will be in place during the closure.

Please avoid the area.
Plan an alternate route. 
Delays are expected.
