ESCONDIDO – On Monday, June 3^rd, at 7:54 PM, Escondido Police Dispatch received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 2700 block of Wanek Road in Escondido.       

Officers arrived and located a juvenile male suffering from a stab wound.  Escondido Fire Paramedics transported the victim to Palomar Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. 

Officers on the scene learned that a group of males were seen fighting in the middle of the street in the area of 2700 Wanek Road.  At some point, the victim fled the fight and ran down the street before collapsing on the 2800 block of Wanek Road.  All of the other subjects involved in the fight fled the scene before police arrived.  There are no suspects in custody at this time.

Homicidio en la Wanek Road en Escondido
 
ESCONDIDO – El lunes 3 de junio, a las 7:54 p. m., la central de policía de Escondido recibió una llamada al 911 sobre un apuñalamiento en la cuadra 2700 de Wanek Road en Escondido.
 
Los agentes llegaron y localizaron a un joven que sufría una herida de arma blanca. Los paramédicos de Bomberos de Escondido transportaron a la víctima al Hospital Palomar, donde luego fue declarado fallecido.
 
Los oficiales en el lugar se enteraron de que se vio a un grupo de hombres peleando en medio de la calle en el área de 2700 Wanek Road. En algún momento, la víctima huyó de la pelea y corrió calle abajo antes de desplomarse en la cuadra 2800 de Wanek Road. Todos los demás sujetos involucrados en la pelea huyeron del lugar antes de que llegara la policía. No hay sospechosos bajo custodia en este momento.
