Free eye clinic appointments available
The Hoboken Office of Constituent Services is partnering with the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI) to bring an eye clinic to Hoboken on Wednesday, July 3, at the Multi Service Center, 124 Grand St.
Project B.E.S.T (Better Eye-health Services and Treatment) will offer free eye screenings to residents beginning at 10 a.m.
Registration is required, and appointments can be made by calling (201) 420-2000 Ext. 1314 or Ext. 1312.
Free Rabies Clinic on June 15
The City of Hoboken and the Division of Health will host a free rabies clinic on Saturday, June 15, 2024, on the ground floor of the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.
A licensed veterinarian from the Animal Infirmary of Hoboken will be on hand to administer the shots to dogs and cats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The State of New Jersey and City of Hoboken require all dogs be vaccinated for rabies and are licensed. A license is required to receive a vaccination. Licenses will be available for purchase at the clinic. Fees are $12 if the dog is spayed or neutered and $16 if the dog is not spayed or neutered. Only cash and checks will be accepted.
Cats do not need to be licensed in Hoboken, but it is strongly encouraged to have them vaccinated against rabies.
All pets must be accompanied by a Hoboken resident over the age of 18, and on a leash or in a carrier. There are no appointments as the event is first come, first served. Vaccinated animals will receive a tag and certificate.

Get a COVID or flu vaccine
The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Division of Health are partnering with the Hudson Regional Health Commission to host a COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinic on Thursday, June 20, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St., second floor.
In partnership with Save Latin America, free $25 gift cards to Walmart or ShopRite will be given to vaccine recipients.
