Reminder! The Community Meeting regarding the Tract C redevelopment is tonight, Wednesday, June 5th from 7 to 9 PM in the Highland Park High School cafeteria, located at 102 No. 5th Avenue. Attendees should plan on entering the cafeteria from the rear of the building (off of the No. 5th parking lot).
The meeting will start with a general presentation by representatives from the governing body, professional staff, and Garden Homes, the selected conditional developer for the area referred to as Tract C in the 2021 Downtown Redevelopment Plan. This is the area between So. 2nd and So. 3rd Avenues, which includes the municipal parking lot/farmers market area. We will be providing an overview of the proposed redevelopment project, including the types of uses in the proposed building along with some concept renderings. After the presentation, attendees will be able to visit different information stations to review the plans in more detail, ask questions, and offer input.
If you are not able to attend tonight's meeting, we will be recording the presentation and replaying it on our HPTV cable channel and on YouTube, as well as posting the slide deck and other meeting materials online after the meeting.
