In response to a statewide rise in serious motor vehicle crashes, the South Brunswick Police Department has begun a series of enforcement details designed to keep our highways safe. We will be focusing on intersections, distracted driving, and speed, but will also be enforcing other violations observed.
 
To be sure that other roadways in our township also receive attention, we will also be continuing our traffic enforcement details as scheduled.
 
Traffic Enforcement Details from June 8^th to June 21^st:
 
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details over the next two weeks:

West Side:

June 8^th to June 14^th: Heathcote Road: Speeding, Stop Sign Violations, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations

June 15^th to June 21^st:  Beekman Road: Speeding, Failure to Stop for Pedestrians within Crosswalks, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations


East Side:

June 8^th to June 14^th: Fresh Ponds Road: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Weight Limit Ordinance Violations
 
June 15^th to June 21^st: Route 522: Speeding, Distracted Driving, and Traffic Signal Violations
