Update: Green Bay Police Identify Homicide Victim; Charges to be Referred on Three in Custody
The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) is able to identify the homicide victim of a reported stabbing on the City’s east side. This person is Robert Marshall, 33, Green Bay.
Officers were dispatched on Monday, June 3, 2024, shortly after 5:00 p.m. to the 700 block of S. Roosevelt Street where Marshall was found lying on the ground outside.
Within an hour-and-a-half of the call, three people were taken into custody during a traffic stop in another jurisdiction and transported back to Green Bay for questioning.
The GBPD will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office on all three people who are currently being held in the Brown County Jail.
Our ongoing investigation indicates that the victim and suspects were known to one another, and the victim died during the commission of an armed robbery.
This update follows next-of-kin notification and results from the autopsy performed by the Brown County Office of the Medical Examiner on June 4, 2024.
