A pet census is being conducted by the Borough of Waldwick, starting tomorrow, 6/6, to ensure all pets in the Borough are licensed and vaccinated against rabies as required by law.
If you have a dog that has not yet received a pet license for 2024, you should immediately obtain a license for this pet at the Borough Clerk's Office located at the Administration Building, 63 Franklin Tpke. More information can be found on the Borough’s website by following this link.
When this census is completed, any unlicensed dog owners will be notified to obtain a license for their pet(s). Failure to obtain a license will result in the issuance of a summons, and a possible court appearance and fines.
The individual that is performing this census is simply gathering the necessary information and has no control over who will receive a summons. Furthermore, it is not his or her job to answer questions. He/she will be identified with a Tyco Animal Control badge.
