The Services Committee will be soliciting resident feedback on the Facilities/Site Study this Thursday, June 6th at 5pm at Village Hall. The committee will discuss whether to consider moving Village Hall to the old firehouse (current Department of Public Works (DPW) building on Shorewood Blvd), consider whether to move the police station there, and if so, to then consider moving the Department of Public Works to the area commonly referred to as cold storage on the west edge of the Village adjacent to the State Crime Lab and Blackhawk Country Club Maintenance facility. This is an opportunity for residents to weigh in on this very important study that, if implemented, would have village-wide ramifications.
