At 653 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cottage Grove, or 15 miles southeast of St. Paul, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, Hastings, Rosemount, St. Paul Park, Prescott, Ellsworth, Bay City, Diamond Bluff, Martel, Esdaile, and Beldenville.
