Officers are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 1400 block of West Ninth Street. Preliminary reports indicate the suspect fired a handgun and an officer involved shooting occurred. No officers were injured. The suspect was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
