33 Drivers / Motorcyclists Cited During Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation
Simi Valley, Calif. – Simi Valley Police Department cited 33 drivers and motorcycle riders for a variety of violations.
During the operation May 4, 2024, and May 25, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 24 citations were issued for Unsafe Speed (22350 VC); 2 citations were issued for Failure to Stop at a Red Light (21453(a) VC); 1 citation was issued for Unsafe Speed (22350 VC) and Driving while unlicensed (12500(a) VC); 1 citation for Unsafe Speed (22350) VC) and Illegal Tint (26708(a) VC); 1 citation issued for Failing to Yield when Entering or Crossing a Highway (21804(a) VC); 1 citation for Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign (22450(a) VC); 1 citation issued for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit (22349(a) VC); 1 citation issued for Driving Over a Divided Section of a Highway (21651(a) VC); 1 citation issued for an Altered License Plate (4464 VC); and 1 arrest was made for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (23152(a)&(b) VC).
