Advisory

From the Desk of SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN, 3 Clayton County Murder suspects were captured in 1 day.

I personally just got off the phone with the victim's mother letting her know she can rest easy knowing our #1 Murder suspect Montevious Garrison is now in custody.  Garrison has been on the run from my Fugitive Squad since February 2024, and just last week I told the mother we would find her son's murderer very soon.

On February 02, 2024, Clayton County Police responded to Family Dollar located at 5425 Riverdale in reference to a Person Shot Call.

Upon arrival, officers observed the victim deceased on the floor of Family Dollar with multiple gunshot wounds.

The outstanding Investigators of the Clayton County Police Department led by Chief Kevin Roberts identified Montevious Garrison as the suspect.

Clayton County Police obtained arrest warrants for Montevious Garrison for Murder during commission of a felony, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Firearm, and Reckless Conduct.

Upon receipt of these warrants, I personally placed Montevious Garrison as #1 on the Top Ten Most Wanted List and not only activated my “Elite Fugitive Unit” but my Assistant Chief, who came up the ranks of the Fugitive Unit. He and I along with the Fugitive Unit, beat the streets to locate and apprehend Garrison.

Tonight, cutting off all avenues of support for Garrison in Clayton County and the Metro area. Newnan Police Department, responding to a suspicious person call, Newnan PD, made contact with Montevious Garrison who was in possession of a dangerous weapon with a switch.

Montevious Garrison was taken into custody without incident and is now being held at the Coweta County Jail on local charges awaiting to be transported to 9157 Tara Blvd where he will await his day in court.

Saisha Gibson #4 & Jason Jefferson #5 were taken into custody for Murder Charges

On April 30, 2024, Clayton County Police Officers responded to an address in the area of Riverdale, Ga. In reference to a Person Shot Call.

Upon arrival, officers observed an open door and entered the residence where they located the victim on the floor with gunshots and large amounts of blood on the kitchen walls and floor.

The Clayton County Police identified Saisha Gibson and Jason Jefferson as the suspects.

Clayton County Police obtained arrest warrants for Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, & Home Invasion.

Upon receipt of these warrants, I placed Saisha Gibson & Jason Jefferson on his Top Ten Most Wanted List.

Through hard work and diligence, The US Marshall’s Service South Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) located Saisha Gibson & Jason Jefferson hiding out at a friend’s house in DeKalb County.

With the assistance of the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, a plan was put into place, the residence was surrounded, and Saisha Gibson & Jason Jefferson were taken into custody without incident.

Saisha Gibson & Jason Jefferson are now being held at 9157 Tara Blvd where they await their day in court.

This was an outstanding day for law enforcement in a collaborative effort to take dangerous murder suspects off the streets.
