TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced for Drive-Up and Go Food Distribution - Wednesday, June 12, 2024 
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that the following streets will be closed during the below designated hours due to the City of Newark’s Drive Up and Go Food Distribution event:
Beginning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Wednesday, June 12, 2024
- South Orange Avenue between South 7th Street and Camden Street
The food drive begins at 11 a.m. and will be held at South Orange Avenue and Littleton Avenue.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
