On June 7, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls reporting gunfire in the area of Horace Dawson Lane in Dale.  While enroute we were advised multiple gunshot victims left the scene to seek medical attention.

Deputies arrived on Horace Dawson ln. and found there had been four people injured from gunfire. one victim was still on scene, a 38 year old female, three other victims, a 17 year old female, a 20 year old female, and a 21 year old male, had all left the scene separately to seek medical attention. No one suffered from life-threatening injuries. One residence and multiple vehicles had also been struck by gunfire. 

Investigators learned there had been a high school graduation party in the yard when unknown individuals arrived and began shooting. The unknown shooters left the area prior to deputies being called. 
There will be a law enforcement presence in the area as this is still being investigated.
