Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Crash on U.S. Route 30 Results in Fatality 
For Immediate Release: June 8, 2024
On the evening of June 7, 2024, officers from the Absecon Police Department responded to a fatal pedestrian motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard). The incident occurred just after 10:00 PM, east of the Delilah Road overpass. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The crash is currently under investigation by our agency’s Traffic Unit. We are urging any individuals who witnessed the crash or have information related to the incident to come forward. The impact of this incident resulted in a traffic interruption for approximately four hours.
