Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Felisima Alvarez, 79, of Newark, who was reported missing today, Saturday, June 8, 2024.
Ms. Alvarez, who suffers from diabetes, memory loss, and speaks only Spanish, was last seen at approximately 12 p.m. heading northbound on North 7th Street towards 6th Avenue. She is 5’3” tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt, blue jeans with an embroidering design on the back pants pocket, and gray, black, and white sneakers. Her hair is in a bun.
