Police Seek Help Identifying Business Robbery Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured man in connection with a business robbery that occurred on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
At approximately 9 p.m., Police responded to the 500 block of Orange Street on a call of a robbery. A man walked into the business and began yelling at the owners, making gestures that he had a firearm, and demanding cash. He stole $250.00 in cash from the business and approximately $400.00 in merchandise.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help to quickly identify this suspect. He is described as 6-ft. tall with a medium build and a bald head. He was wearing a gray Hollister T-shirt, blue jeans shorts, red and black Jordans, and was carrying a dark gray backpack.
