Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on a drug charge.
On June 7, at approximately 10:52 a.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force were in the area of Lancaster Avenue and South Van Buren Street, when they observed a wanted subject. Officers attempted to make contact with 26-year-old Dejuan Robinson, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, Robinson was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of 16.78 grams of crack cocaine.
Robinson has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrants:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and was released on $1,500 secured bail.
