Patoka man arrested on OWI charge. 5.31.2024

On May 31, 2024, at 4:09 p.m. Deputy Logan Lashbrook stopped a Blue 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander on in the Rural King Parking lot located at 2007 W. Broadway Street in Princeton after Gibson County Central Dispatch had received multiple calls about how the vehicle had caused multiple accidents on US 41.  Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lashbrook identified the driver as 62 year old Timothy Morgan of Patoka.  While speaking with Mr. Morgan Deputy Lashbrook observed clues that the driver may under the influence of an unknown intoxicant.  At that point Deputy Lashbrook began a roadside OWI investigation.  At the conclusion of his investigation he placed Mr. Morgan into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. 
 
Assisting Deputy Lashbrook in his investigation was Princeton officer Brandt George and Gibson County Special Deputy Randy Ziliak.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
