At 1108 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Afton, or 11 miles west of River Falls, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... River Falls, Woodbury, Maplewood, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, Oakdale, Hastings, Rosemount, South St. Paul, Stillwater, Hugo, and Hudson. This includes Interstate 94 in Wisconsin between mile markers 1 and 31.
