Missing Woman Found by Chino Hills Investigators and Arrest Man for Kidnapping

LOCATION: 4300 block of Francis Avenue, Chino / 3100 block of Vintage Place, Jurupa Valley

SUSPECT(S): Javier Ramirez, a 52-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley 

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at around 6:42 AM, Chino Hills deputies responded to a missing person investigation in the 4300 block of Francis Avenue in unincorporated Chino. Deputies determined the female involved was missing under suspicious circumstances. Chino Hills detectives assumed the investigation. 

Detectives searched for the female and conducted interviews. Detectives developed investigative leads and identified a vehicle of interest. Detectives conducted surveillance at a residence in the 3100 block of Vintage Place in Jurupa Valley. During the surveillance, investigators conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle believed to be related to the investigation. Javier Ramirez and the reported missing female occupied the car. The female suffered from significant injuries and was transported to Riverside Community Hospital. 

Ramirez and the missing person were in a dating relationship. Detectives learned the female had been assaulted and imprisoned by Ramirez for two days. The alleged crimes occurred in the County of Riverside. Ramirez was arrested for the above charges and was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
