UPDATE: Police Recover Vehicle Used in a Robbery; Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé reports that a vehicle used during a robbery on May 20, 2024, has been located, and police continue to seek the public’s help in identifying the suspects in this incident.
The white 2017 Infinity Q70 was recovered on May 30, 2024, after two Black males exited the vehicle at approximately 5:54 a.m. on May 20, 2024. They robbed a victim standing at a bus stop on Littleton Avenue, taking his bookbag containing two cell phones, debit and credit cards, and other personal items. The suspects fled in the vehicle, driven by another unknown suspect. The owner, Sa Jadah Hodge, reported to the robbery squad on June 13, 2024, and is no longer wanted for questioning in the investigation
Suspect #1, a Black male with a medium build, wore black clothing, a yellow traffic vest, and a face mask. Suspect #2, a Black male with a heavy build, wore a black hoodie, tan pants, and a face mask.
