East Chicago, IN - Mayor Anthony Copeland is excited to announce the kickoff of summer with the highly anticipated Rhythm & Soul Fest “A Juneteenth Celebration”, taking place on Saturday, June 15th at Washington Park, located at 1615 142nd St. East Chicago, IN. The event will feature electrifying performances by the Dazz Band, Nu-Agenda, and The Brothers of Soul, guaranteeing a day filled with unforgettable music and entertainment from 3pm until 9pm.
 
Attendees can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere with food vendors offering delicious treats, fun-filled activities, and a variety of crafts for people of all ages. Admission to the festival is free, and parking will be available at Block Stadium. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
