Man Arrested After Shots Fired on US Route 30 Motel Corridor 
On June 14, 2024, just before 10:30 PM, officers from the Absecon Police Department were dispatched to the US Route 30 motel corridor in response to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence indicating that a firearm had been discharged in the area.
A thorough search for potential victims began immediately. After an extensive investigation and review of surveillance footage from the vicinity, officers successfully identified and apprehended the suspect involved in the incident. Desmon A. Wilson, 23, of Mays Landing, was arrested and charged with related weapons offenses.
At this time, investigators have found no evidence to suggest that there are any victims related to this shooting.
