2. Attempted Carjacking (1112) 1100 Block of West March Lane, Lakeview District
The suspect was in the listed area when he fired rounds in the air from a gun and then ran to a nearby vehicle. The suspect contacted the male victim, 55, and attempted to take the victim's vehicle. Officers arrived, and the suspect discarded a handgun, which was later recovered. ARRESTED: James Mangum, 33, for attempted carjacking and weapons charges.
