Due to anticipated extreme heat conditions Tuesday through Friday, garbage and recycling collection will begin at 6 AM. All items must be ready for pickup NO LATER THAN 6 AM. For the Recycling Collection on Thursday and Friday, residents are encouraged to place their Toters curbside the evening before their scheduled pickup at 7 PM to ensure you get a pickup.
By starting garbage and recycling collection earlier, the Village of Pelham Department of Public Works employees can avoid extreme heat-related illnesses such as dehydration and heat stroke.
