High Temperatures Expected this week. 
Temperatures are forecast to be exceptionally high for the period 6/18/24 to 6/22/24.
High temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 90’s with the hottest day forecast to be 97 degrees on Friday 6/21/24. These high temperatures place a strain on the Electrical Grid.
Please take the following actions to assist the Boro of Milltown’s Electrical Utility.
Turn off unnecessary appliances between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Consider running dryers, washing machines, and other high voltage appliances later in the day.
Do an energy check throughout your day and turn off lights and TV’s etc. in unoccupied rooms.
Close curtains or blinds alongside of the house in direct sunlight.
