* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a chance that clouds linger from an overnight chance for showers and storms, which could limit how high heat indices get on Tuesday. However, should clouds scatter out, heat indices could rapidly rise quickly. Heat stress increases with the number of consecutive hot days. Heat indices will range from 93 to near 100 for the next five days, with high temperatures in the upper 80s and low to mid 90s. Low temperatures in the 70s at night will provide little relief from the heat. Monitor for additional heat headlines this week.
