NOTICE
 
The Township has been notified by Duquesne Light to expect a 2-day estimated time frame to have power restored for those whose power is out.
The Township is opening a cooling center at Pleasant Valley VFC at 10 AM today. Pleasant Valley VFC is located at 152 Kittanning Pike. Formal hours of the cooling center will be announced later today.
Those that may need transport to the cooling center today should call (412) 782-1400 from 8 AM- 4:30 PM.  A number will be posted later today for anyone needing to call after hours.  As always call 911 if it is an emergency.
Police Officers will be going door to door to check on residents.  Please call the above number if you are concerned about a family member or friend and would like to have a Police Officer check on them.
The current road closures are:
1. Dorseyville Road is closed from Brownshill Road to Beechview Farms with no access to residents or emergency vehicles.
2. All of Marlboro Road is closed.
3. Hemlock Hollow Road has limited access from Hunt Road to Riding Meadow.
CAUTION:
Please do not approach or attempt to remove trees or debris from power lines. While the power line may appear to be inactive, it may become re-energized without warning.
