1. Attempted Robbery Arrest (1620), 7800 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 54, attempted to stop the suspect from stealing merchandise from an area business. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon before fleeing. The suspect was arrested a short distance away. ARRESTED Robin Southern, 53, for attempted robbery.
2. Persons Shot (2313), 1800 Block of North California Street, Civic District
The two victims, 21 and 30, arrived at an area hospital for treatment of their gunshot wounds. While associates of the victims were in the parking lot, another shooting occurred where the victim, 25, was shot. There is no suspect information.
3. Battery on an Officer (2320) 1800 Block of North California Street, Civic District
Officers were investigating a shooting and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect resisted, spat, and assaulted officers. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. ARRESTED: Sharonda Heath, 28, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
4. Person Shot (0157) 300 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 36, was walking in the area when the suspect approached, took his property, and shot him before fleeing. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Light-complected male
