Shellfish harvesting CLOSED on EAST SHORELINE of Bainbridge Island due to high levels of paralytic shellfish poison

Kitsap Publich Helath District has issued an advisory. Shellfish harvesting is closed on the east shoreline of Bainbridge Island due to high levels of paralytic shellfish poison (PSP). See their bulletin for details https://lnks.gd/2/2w26Thw or go to kitsappublichealth.org.

CLOSURE AREA: East shoreline of Bainbridge Island, including all bays and inlets, from Point Monroe south to Restoration Point. Check the state shellfish safety map to view specific locations.

All existing shellfish closures remain in effect.  

SPECIES AFFECTED: All recreational shellfish harvesting for all species of clams, oysters, and mussels.
