Hours: 29 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
Hourly Starting Rate: $20.45.
Open to Gloucester Township Residents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists fellow staff with general office duties including filing, record keeping and file maintenance, as a Part Time Clerk for the Juvenile Family Services Bureau (JFSB).
Applicant must have the ability to:
-Assist customers at the counter and on the telephone in response to department inquiries including computer file research.
-Assists staff with general office duties including filing, record keeping and file maintenance.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality; utilize good judgment and discretion.
-Be accurate, attentive to detail, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including excellent customer service skills.
-Professionally make frequent contact with residents, other departments and general public.
-Ability to handle inquiries and/or complaints tactfully and effectively.
-Ability to compile information and/or numerical data.
-Proficient computer skills – preference with Microsoft Office and ability to learn specific operating systems.
-Ability to meet deadlines and work criteria.
-Learn to perform specialized clerical work related to the department.
-Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Must pass a criminal background check and maintain such security clearance throughout employment.
